Czech transport has faced compound challenges: driver shortages, rising tolls and fuel costs as the largest expenses, delayed customer payments, and mounting sustainability pressures from EU climate goals and customers. Companies that build connected digital ecosystems across telematics, AI, fuel management, and toll processing are best positioned.
Operating across three logistics centers (Pardubice, Liberec, Vysoké Mýto), specializing in oversized transport, automotive, paper, packaging, and construction — managing 600 vehicles and 850 employees required moving beyond individual tools to build an integrated system connecting telematics, AI document processing, and EDI communication with key customers.
The partnership began with EVA on-board units for unified toll payment across most EU countries. PerfectDrive provides comprehensive driver performance monitoring. Chairwoman Martina Šmídlová:

The system identifies the most efficient combinations of routes and fuel stations, reducing both costs and environmental impact.
Technology has reduced error rates in routine processes by tens of percent, saving thousands of hours annually. AI is deployed for invoice extraction, customer communication, and management briefings. Fleet age averages three years, with 2025 investments exceeding 200 million CZK in new generation equipment. The company calculates carbon footprint through GreenOmeter and is developing a real-time per-vehicle emissions calculator.

“We’re now preparing options for clients who target CO₂ reduction. We offer HVO fuel for international transport or electric trucks for shorter routes. For us, technology isn’t an add-on, but a fundamental way of operating.”
