Starting with a single van in 2011, MRS Transport now operates a modern heavy-duty fleet for long-haul European routes. Its pragmatic technology approach — including Eurowag’s toll systems, remote tachograph downloads, and telematics — reflects a philosophy of measured growth and reliable service.

The Romanian road freight market offers abundant orders but shrinking profitability. Clients prioritize price over performance. The first half of 2025 maintained solid volumes, but margins tightened across international routes serving food, energy, and textile sectors.
CEO Marius Răducanu: “I had to change my mindset and become very pragmatic and results-oriented. If you asked me what has changed after 2024, I’d say it’s the margins.” The company needed compliance tools and telematics that save time without complexity — particularly for vehicles outside Romania.
Răducanu: “We currently use Eurowag’s toll systems and remote tachograph downloads, as well as Inelo software and telematics for our vehicles driven abroad. These solutions save valuable operational time, especially for fleets driving outside Romania.”
Six new vehicles added in 2024. The company shifted from courier to heavy-duty freight since 2017. KPI monitoring ensures fuel efficiency: “Keeping the KPIs under control means better fuel efficiency and competitive pricing for clients.”
Electric trucks are outside the near-term roadmap due to costs and minimal demand. The focus stays on fleet modernization, portfolio stability, and pragmatic technology adoption. International driver recruitment is being evaluated.
