Eurowag currently offers fuel and services at over 250 partner stations across Slovakia, five of them are part of the premium Eurowag Prime network, located along major transit routes. Eurowag customers can now also recharge their electric trucks at Empark. A hydrogen station opening at Empark is planned for next year.

"As a transit country for international truck transport, Slovakia is a frequent stop for our domestic and international customers, so the development of modern truck parks with sufficient capacity and services is an important step. We are therefore delighted to be partnering with Empark and to be able to offer Eurowag customers preferential services. At the same time, we greatly appreciate that Empark not only offers a unique, comprehensive range of energy and roadside services,”

said Miroslav Novák, Eurowag's country manager for the Slovak and Czech markets.

Diesel,HVO100, e-charging, and soon hydrogen: first multi-energy station in the region

The Eurowag Truck Park in Trnava marks the second, key location in Slovakia where Eurowag customers can find the low-emissionfuel HVO100 (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil), which Eurowag introduced to the Slovak market in February 2024.
With Eurowag fuel card, customers can now also charge their heavy-duty electric trucks.

“We’re excited to see the accelerating expansion of alternative energy options for our customers across Europe. Our hybrid, energy card does not only provide access to over 17,000 standard refueling sites, but also hundreds of thousands of charging locations. The charging of trucks remains a challenge, but attractive locations like Trnava, which are specifically designed for trucks, combined with our charging service at customer depots, makes electric trucks an attractive offer on selected routes already today”,

explains Matthias Maedge, Vice President for Commercial Road Transport Decarbonization at Eurowag.

The HDV charger from ZSE Drive in Empark, is adapted for truck access and is suitable for vehicles with connectors on both the right and left sides. With a power output of 400 kW, it can charge a standard-weight truck for another 300-kilometer in 45 minutes.

Green hydrogen production

A pilot project involving the operation of a 1 MW PEM electrolyzer for green hydrogen production built by JESS, a.s., is set to launch at Empark in 2026. It will be able to produce approximately 160 tons of green hydrogen per year, which will enable transport services covering up to 1.3 million kilometres. The project will thus contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately 1,000 tons per year. Green hydrogen will also be available to Eurowag customers.

150 secure parking spaces with facilities for drivers

Eurowag customers can also use 150 secured Empark’ parking spaces, which are the only ones in Slovakia having TAPA PSR 3certification. In addition to this secure parking  service, drivers have access to social facilities, WiFi, luggage storage, and a restaurant.
