Prague, May 17, 2021 – EBIDTA of W.A.G. payment solutions, a. s., trading as Eurowag, grew by 22% YoY in 2020, to EUR 57 million, with its margin expanded to 46%. Net revenue of the company reached EUR 125.5 million. The double-digit growth shows strong resilience of the business amid uncertain macroeconomic environment. The company has published audited financial statements in its Annual Report 2020.

Eurowag, one of the fastest growing integrated mobility providers in Europe, focuses on technological solutions to simplify the lives of commercial road transport companies. It has customers in 30 countries, operates more than 15 thousand POS and services a portfolio of more than 100 thousand unique active trucks. The business has grown nearly four-times since 2015. The number of employees exceeded 1,000 in 2020.

Expanding ESG activities in the transportation industry has become one of the strategic focuses for Eurowag. The company expanded the network of charging points available on its subsidiary Sygic’s app to 297 thousand and of alternative fuel sales of LNG/CNG at 77 stations across Europe.

“Eurowag continues to invest in the digitalization of road transport and accelerate the transition to clean powertrains. We expand the impact of our activities beyond adding financial value into creating benefits to a wider range of stakeholders – to the benefit of the industry, society and our environment,” said CEO and founder of Eurowag Martin Vohánka.

Eurowag also continues to widen the offering of its products. In 2020 it launched Enhanced Vehicle Assistant (EVA), an integrated on-board unit for Toll, Payments and Telematics, and a social networking app with specialized truck navigation (RoadLords). Customer satisfaction steadily increases, with the NPS score, a customer research metric, reaching the value of 50.

Delivering its M&A strategy, the company completed the acquisition of ADS, a top commercial road transport services provider in Spain and Portugal in the first quarter of 2021. Since the beginning of the year Eurowag also announced three strategic investments into the Czech-based fleet management provider KomTeS, Dutch eMobility solutions expert Last Mile Solutions and Lithuania-based Drivitty, one of the leaders in mobile payment services integration.
