Important!

Due to technological progress, TachoReader Combo devices differ in the type of components used.
Before starting the update, check the serial number which can be found on the bottom of the device:

  • the TRB BALM Updater 1.8.27 is intended solely for use by regulatory authorities
  • tachoReader Combo 1.8.26 (exe) should be downloaded for devices with serial numbers ending with a letter (G2v2 reading device update)
  • tachoReader Combo 5.0.16 (exe) should be downloaded for devices with serial numbers ending with a digit
